- Collect the four missing small statues encountered before the final arrangement.

Finish the connected attic-box route#
Use the count distinction first, then check the five relationships rather than searching indefinitely for another pickup.
Account for four missing statue pickups#
Verify the four missing small statues from the route are available before treating the Gold Box as an arrangement problem.
Fill the five displayed positions#
Read the final box as five animal-to-symbol relationships. The extra displayed position is not evidence of an undiscovered fifth pickup.
Apply the five pairs#
Set Butterfly to Flower, Bird to Cloud, Monkey to Tree, Fish to Water, and Goat to Mountain.
Collect both route rewards#
Continue the connected attic boxes until the scroll and ladder rung have both been collected before leaving the room.

- Stop searching for a fifth missing pickup. The reviewed route distinguishes four missing pickups from five final arrangement positions.
- The pairs look correct but a route item is absent
- Recheck the connected Eye and Wine box interactions and confirm both the scroll and ladder rung were collected. Do not infer an exact missing pickup location without returning through the attic sequence.
