My microphone or VOIP channel is not working

Windows device and privacy checks, in-game input/output and PTT settings, audio format, server/network isolation, and a warned last-resort settings reset.

Recovery order

Start with the smallest reversible voice fix

Confirm the microphone works in Windows first, then align the game's device and push-to-talk choices. Broader network or configuration resets come only after the reversible checks fail.

  1. 01

Confirm Windows detects the intended microphone and allows desktop-app access.

  2. 02

Align the default communication device with the game's selected input and output.

  3. 03

Check format and push-to-talk before changing server or network settings.

  4. 04

Use the local HLL settings-folder reset only after recording settings and exhausting safer checks.
